Not often do we come across pieces like this one. This is a 15th century image of the infant Krishna. In this form he is known as Balakrishna.

The detail is fantastic, and extraordinary in such a small sized piece. Quality like this will only be viewed in museums or private collections, which sadly we can not see every day.

The patination is a wonderful colour. This is one of our favourites from our Private collection.
