Description

Modern bronzes of Nataraja are ten a penny. It is, after all, the most iconic image. Shiva is depicted in dance, destroying and creating everthing at the same time.

In all our years of collecting and dealing in Indian bronzes we have only every been lucky enough to aquire a few genuine antique examples of this image. This 17th century piece was aquired several years ago and is an important part of our private collection. We are pleased to be able to share it here.
