Description

An extremely fine kneeling Garuda in Anjali mudra with snake from Rajasthan. It is common to see Garuda in Anjali mundra but much less common to see him kneeling in devotion to his Lord. Obviously this pieces was the subject of worship and as such it retains a presence that we would expect.

A very good and quite rare image of the Vahana of Lord Vishnu.
