Description

A larger than normal size image of Shiva as the warrior Virabadhra. Here we see Shiva with a moustache wielding a spear, bow, sword and shield. Around his waist he wears a garland of skulls. He is highly decorated, has a knife in his belt and wears Padukas.

Other than the missing pedestal there is no damage. The casting of a separate pedestal is typical of this date.
